Rain in Bonaire is relatively unusual. It’s beautiful when it comes, though … rapid and aggressive, saturating the earth and then moving quickly on. Thanks to the sea, the broad horizon offers the opportunity to take in the enormous scale of a rainstorm, as we did with this downpour which, having drenched our bit of paradise, took on the challenge of trying to douse the setting sun.
