Hmmmm:

Reuters, the same news organization that, in deference to cultural sensitivity, refrains from labeling anyone a terrorist, offers up this photo (I'm referring to the link, not the icon on the right) under the category "Entertainment." A couple of ways to interpret this... One could argue it's hypocritical: Isn't calling this "funny" insensitive to women in general--and don't women deserve at least as much respect as murderers (er, "freedom fighters")? Or, from a post-modernist perspective, perhaps Reuters is being consistent: Both actions demonstrate a commitment to refrain from negatively judging anything based on western sensibilities.
