New Code Orange Airspace Restrictions: If you've been over to A Small Victory, you can see that Michele's spidy-sense is on high today. In response to her wondering if there's been a change in air traffic patterns in NYC today, I did some poking around and found that while there are no changes in NYC airspace, yesterday the FAA did impose three additional airspace restrictions in Washington DC. While some of the language is FAA jargon, you can read the NOTAM (Notice To Airmen) here.
